Mary has worked for Cornell University since 1981 in the departments of Animal Science, Entomology, Clinical Sciences, and now at the Waste Management Institute. She received an M.S. in education in 1995 and a B.S. in Animal Science in 1981, both from Cornell University.

As an Extension Support Specialist, Mary is responsible for the coordination and day-to-day management of the Institute's composting research projects.
